We know we’re supposed to love our enemies, but we’ve forgotten how. Political Talk helps us remember by awakening Christian practices we’ve already learned and empowering us to be faithful in conflict over complex political issues. For ten sessions, we practice loving each other while engaging these difficult problems.
In the face of complex cultural issues, the Colossian Forum equips Christians to transform these conflicts into opportunities for spiritual growth and witness. We strive to create a Christian community that acts Christian, especially in the face of conflict.
Political Talk is a Colossian Way series. An innovative method that helps us be faithful in conflict, The Colossian Way is practiced in small groups. Set in an intimate worship context, each session follows a structure that creates space for the Holy Spirit and an authentic formation experience. We face each other and our conflicts with courage and vulnerability.
Are you hungry to see your church overcome division and find ways to forge fruitful lives amid conflict? The Colossian Way can help your church be faithful in conflict around politics or any other issue. Political Talk small group series is full of practices to help Christians develop conflict engagement skills that translate into any context.
Politics don’t have to divide us. Worship counteracts our temptation to treat others with contempt. It helps us see them as someone with a story, made in God’s image, just like us. With Political Talk, you’ll learn to navigate political disagreements with fellow Christians in positive, redemptive ways.
