Our research-backed methodologies can turn conflict into growth.
The Colossian Forum cultivates connection across difference. How? By developing leaders and shifting cultures. When organizations partner with us, they grow in ways that help them better fulfill their organizational mission. Get ahead of conflict — before it happens.
Studies have found that when institutional conflict cultures are not healthy, it results in a cost to both individuals and the organization. Costs to individuals include stress, demotivation, depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbance. At an organizational level, conflict lowers trust, problem solving, creativity, performance, cooperation, communication, and advice-seeking. The end result? People leave. Productivity decreases. Feelings of loneliness and isolation abound.
When organizations don’t have a process in place, and lack the readiness to address incidents of conflict, there are often missteps that create further harm — and put the organization at additional risk. This takes an internal toll on leaders who know there’s work to be done, but don’t know how to effectively meet this moment.
