Speaker Opportunities

Become inspired by what’s possible.

Our communities need hope every day — and to learn how to put hope into practice in the midst of disagreement.

At The Colossian Forum, we offer Christ-centered and inspiring ways to turn hope into action. Our speaking engagements aim to generate greater love for God and neighbor through tangible practices.

What You Can Expect

Meeting you where you are, and inspiring you to go further.

We’ve all been in meetings and events where we’ve wondered “What’s the point?” or “Why am I here?” When the message isn’t clear, we might miss out on the practical steps and applications that can bring needed change, renewed vision, or restoration to our lives and organizations.

That’s why The Colossian Forum places practice at the forefront of each of our presentations. Our goal is not to inspire hope alone, but to invite your community to practice it together — during and after the talk. Your entire community will be equipped with interpersonal practices, prayer structures, and introspective exercises to deepen connections and foster organizational health.

Types of speaking we do:

  • Conference Key Notes
  • Conference Break-out Sessions
  • Chapel Services
  • Professional Development Days
  • Teacher In-Service Days
  • Staff Retreats
  • Board Training
Speaking Topics

We’re excited to share with your community.

  • Virtues for Today: Moving from Rigidity to Humility

Dwelling in God’s Kingdom requires us to shift how we orient ourselves to the world around us to align with God’s ways. In order to do so, we not only have to change our mindsets but our habits as well. In this talk, your community will learn to move from a posture of rigidity to one of humility, by adopting both a mindset and habits centered on curiosity.

  • Blessed are the Peacemakers: The Call to Be a Peaceable Presence

Biblical peace is not just an absence of conflict or a state of calm, but a state of wholeness and well-being for all. We are called to be peacemakers: to live in harmony with one another and to restore what is broken within and between us. In this talk, your community will learn to overcome fear of difference and act as a peaceable presence in their every day lives.

  • One Anothering: Choosing Each Other in a Divided World

We live in a time marked by the sins of disunity and division, but as Christians we have an opportunity to choose unity, even without uniformity of opinion. In this talk, your community will learn how to embrace one another, despite your differences, in Kingdom-oriented ways that uphold your commitments to love God and neighbor above all.

  • Christian Conflict Transformation: Why it’s needed and how to get started

Christians badly need new ways of responding to conflict and the polarization in the world. The Colossian Forum has spent over a decade researching and learning about how people and organizations transform their deep disagreements. Learn about our research, hear inspiring stories, and gain practical wisdom.
