An Opportunity to Reflect, Connect, and Be Together
We would be honored to have you join us for a meaningful afternoon centered around Dr. Vivek Murthy’s January Series address, “Human Connection in a Sometimes Lonely World” — followed by an intimate gathering hosted by The Colossian Forum.
Our Connection with Dr. Murthy

Dr. Vivek Murthy, prior U.S. Surgeon General and keynote speaker for Calvin University’s January Series, has drawn national attention to what he calls “the epidemic of isolation.” The Colossian Forum has had the privilege of engaging with Dr. Murthy at a previous event and was deeply moved by the harmony between his message and our own — rooted in Christ’s reconciling love. His call to rebuild connection and shared purpose echoes the gospel vision of reconciliation — a vision we’re eager to explore together through the lens of faith.
A Two-Part Invitation
1. Join Us for Dr. Murthy’s January Series Keynote
We invite you to attend Dr. Vivek Murthy’s keynote on the epidemic of isolation. Seating will be reserved for friends of The Colossian Forum so you can experience the talk in a shared space among familiar faces.
2. Stay for a Private Gathering and Theological Reflection
After the address, we warmly welcome you into a smaller, more personal gathering hosted by The Colossian Forum. This time is set aside for reflection, story, and conversation — a chance to sit with what we’ve heard, to listen to one another, and to consider how Christ’s reconciling love invites us into deeper belonging and shared purpose.
We intend that this gathering feels spacious, hospitable, and deeply human.
